Shine a Light

There are some folks who could light a candle, but it seems like they’d rather curse the night.

Here’s a fun fact by author Russel Brunson - Blowing out someone else’s candle doesn’t make yours shine any brighter.

I challenge you to think of the ways in which you can use your words and actions to be kind and lift someone up. You shine. We shine.

Some doctrine uses and ascribes value to light in contrast to dark. That’s not…that’s not what we’re doing here. That’s not the take away I want you to have. This is about finding and holding on to the spark within you, and using that light to help others.

Listen closely - If you don’t like the song on the radio, get up and change the dial.

I get it. We exist in a dog eat dog world and we’re all trying to thrive much less survive in a swill of troublesome perceptions and challenges. It’s sometimes easier to drink water, mind your business and take care of only yourself.  I beg  - Don’t just sit there.

Be a tranformative force.

Rage, Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Stand in your light. Help your pals find theirs too.

Shine a doggone light.
